Implementing Fair Price Energy will be a tremendous political challenge. The first step is to start a national conversation about free market solutions to our energy crisis. Currently, “gas taxes” are not politically palatable. When constituents start the conversation, politicians will start to see the political dangers of NOT talking about it. In Al Gore’s words, “Political will is a renewable resource.”
